Organisations become aware of the difference inclusion of gender and diversity makes in their performance. Donors require more deliberate action and strategies on gender justice and social inclusion in projects and programmes. People working with gender and diversity become convinced of its benefit in the implementation of actions. Course objectives

• Practice basic concepts on gender and diversity responsiveness in development cooperation
• Assess organisations on gender equality
• Apply the main concepts of theory of change and results chain in development interventions and judge the level of gender responsiveness at relevant stages of the programme
• Distinguish gender issues in the different phases of the life cycle of a project or programme; in identification, formulation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation
• Apply at least 5 analytical tools supportive to achieve inclusive and equal development programming
• Decide on what to apply in their own job situation
