Admission to Manipal Institute of Technology can be attained through Manipal University- Online Entrance Test (MU-OET) and is carried out at centers across India. It is a computer based exam and consists of 200 questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, and logical reasoning and spans for a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes. MAHE offers three chances for a student to take up the entrance exam subjected to additional payment and availability of vacancies. Unlike other entrance exams the score for your performance in the online based test will be displayed immediately after the exam ends depending on which you will be eligible to appear for counselling.
• Admission to B.Tech (Regular+ Lateral), B.Pharm, BBA, PharmD and BA (Media & Communication) courses at the UG level is offered on the basis of Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MU OET) conducted by Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE).

• At the postgraduate level, the admission to M.Sc (Medical), M.Sc (Nursing), ME, M.Tech, M.Pharm, Pharm. D (PB) and other M.Sc courses is also based on candidates’ score in MU OET
