Yoga Vana is a Yoga Teacher Training School in India certified by Yoga Alliance, USA. We offer residential 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training Courses in India as well as Yoga & Ayurveda Retreats. At Yoga Vana, we follow the Sivananda Yoga teaching tradition and provide extensive training in Hatha Yoga, Meditation, Pranayama and Yoga Asanas.

At Yoga Vana, we provide a warm and open learning environment for you to intensify your personal Yoga practice and to deepen your understanding of the philosophy and science of Yoga. We support you throughout the course and beyond in developing the skills and confidence to be the teacher and guide you are called to be.

 Course Content

Yoga Vana Forest Academy is a Registered Yoga School (RYS 200) with Yoga Alliance, USA. The course syllabus fulfils the requirements for Yoga Alliance 200 hour Yoga Teacher certification. Upon successful completion of this course, graduates are welcome to register at Yoga Alliance as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200)

The course takes place at the Holistic Centre for Yoga & Vedanta founded by Pujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati in Amboli, a hill station in southern Maharashtra just 110 km from Goa International Airport. Perched on the hills of the Western Ghats, one of India's most diverse ecosystems, this secluded venue offers a peaceful natural environment that is very conducive for an in-depth practice of yoga and meditation.

Accommodation The rooms are situated in beautiful, simple cottages from natural stone. Each room comes with an attached bathroom, hot water facility and a balcony with views of the surrounding hills.
