World of Warcraft 's first five expansions are currently included in the base game. The most recent expansion called Warlords of Draenor has been removed from the WoTLK Gold store and a Blizzard customer service representative has confirmed on Reddit that it's because the expansion is now available for free.
Warlords of Draenor saw a price change from $10 to $11 in the month of April. Paying for the expansion got the player a boost in character to level 90. It's not entirely clear if the boost is now available in the game's base version, as we're hearing conflicting reports. In reality, World of Warcraft 's shop page on Battle.net doesn't mention the boost to your character. We've reached out to Blizzard to clarify the issue and will update this article when we know more.
Warlords of Draenor released in 2014 and featured higher-quality animations and visuals. The game also lets players build bases to include workshops, armories and more. It was rated an 8 in the P2Pah review, which reads, "Warlords of Draenor has rejuvenated World of Warcraft with a massive amount of new content and refinement of the gameplay basics. Much like the controversy surrounding the New Game Enhancement of Star Wars Galaxies, Blizzard has no plans to remove anything from the changes to stats rather, it has addressed"stat inflation "stat inflation" that was a result of every expansion."
The Draenor expansion becoming free is part of getting ready for World of Warcraft 's next expansion, Legion. It launches on August 30. and includes an entirely new Demon Hunter class, raises the level cap to 110. and adds new raids and dungeons. Also, it gives characters a that cheap WOW WoTLK Classic Gold can be upgraded to level 100.
