Considering the recent comment regarding Skilling Guilds (Guilds not focusing on combat-related skills) from a recent QnA, I was wondering what the views of the community on the subject of Guilds in OSRS. Personally, I believe there are three criteria for Buy RS Gold what I expect from Skilling Guilds:
Need to use the Guild for Skilling I believe there should be a type of motivation for the user to utilize the Guild's facilities with an emphasis on improving your understanding of the skill. This makes sense as an Guild would likely want to see its members develop and improve in their respective fields. Guild is a great place to refine one's skills, and also to expand the potential knowledge accumulated by the Guild due to the many skilled members who adventure far and wide. Woodcutting Guild is a good example of this. Woodcutting Guild is a good example of this due to its tree biodiversity as well as the invisible +7 Boost . The Crafting Guild is a bad illustration of this since it's only for the bank vault (Although it is fair to say that I'm not sure about the delicacy that could be associated with a Production-Based Skills like Crafting without being a bit controversial).
Unique or Exclusive Content: I imagine a place created for the best of the best in a particular area of expertise would have distinctive or exclusive features due to having a substantial amount of members who claim proficiency in their field. With a large portion of those who have the ability to master their craft as adventurers so it's only natural that they'd seek out and claim exclusive discoveries that would benefit the Guild and help to expand its collective knowledge. In the case of the Farming Guild is a great illustration of this being used properly, in my opinion, with the Hespori Patch as well as the Celastrus Patch, and the Redwood Patch. But, The Fishing Guild is a great illustration of this being used incorrectly; a Fishing Boss was placed at the center of the Desert and not the guild for Fishers was a sorely wasted opportunity (Although fighting a huge Catfish in the middle of the lake would be pretty cool if properly executed and fits better than just splashing around people a more).
A hub for players aiming for, or already possessing, Skill Mastery A Guild must have a social aspect to it which could include introducing Skilling Clans, or even a notice board on which Guild Members can post certain requests with certain rewards. I believe that OSRS should include Guilds serve as hubs to players who wish to utilize their mastery of skills or to possess mastery over their ability as one rule of thumb. that would include increasing the social aspect for players' engagement at this point as opposed to simply increasing visitors to the site in the first two points. It is ideal to have players helping other players, a nicety I think ought to be included in Guilds to serve as a space for giving instruction.
Let me know what you consider about the ideas I brought up regarding my expectations regarding Guilds or if there's something you feel I should to clarify here, tell me your personal thoughts on the purpose of Guilds in OSRS. Personally, I think it would be interesting to see larger importance be given to something with so much potential and while this article doesn't address Combat Oriented Skills, I would like to hear what people's opinions are on rs 2007 gold an approach to those Guilds, too.
