INTRODUCTION

The two most common challenges among development organizations are to document effectively their activities and to come up with highly saleable project proposals. Therefore, organizations need personnel well equipped with an understanding of the project development process as a good project proposal that addresses a real need will attract a donor. It is thus important for the project managers and other stakeholders to train on this course to be better placed when managing projects. This course will provide organizations with staff grounded in knowledge and skills for developing marketable project proposals.

The course is based on a participatory, active learning approach, with an emphasis on critical reflection and peer-to-peer learning. The course instructor will provide individualised feedback where appropriate. Participants will do the required readings, prepare interim and final assignments and participate in group discussions.

Participants who successfully complete the course will receive Certificate of Participation.

 

OBJECTIVES
