There is an inherent gift, a natural medicine, in true friendship and deep connection between women.
This is what we are seeking when we spend precious time together on Sunday afternoons.
We meet monthly to hold sacred space for one another. Each gathering touches on a specific theme or issue. Touch is an important part of our practices, respectful and nourishing touch. The touch may be incorporated into the different practices. We share, we reflect, we dance, we provide each other with an opportunity for showing up as we are
Embodiment practices teach us that feelings are simply an energy that we can tap into and work with. When we feel an emotion it is just that, an emotion. When we feel an emotion and then concoct a story around it, we create a sticky place within ourselves that is later hard to undo. When we simply feel an emotion and notice it in our bodies, we can move through it and emerge empowered and triumphant, celebrating our gifts in a way that trickles into our daily lives.
You will find that true spiritual work does not require being away on a five-day retreat. It does not take place only when you are stepping away from the routine of your life. Spiritual work can be a part of your everyday routine as you face the challenges that life presents.
