Items from Barrows are dropped on average, 1:15 iirc. The range of  RuneScape gold items is from 50K to 1.7M currently. There are many items that are close to 1M and under, few are above 1M. So let's say 1M every 15 runs . This accounts for runes and the like as well. Barrows is very cheap and you'll have plenty of runes from death and blood left over if you are using Polypore (which you must).

Yes, you can earn more money at Glacors. But there are a few negatives. Glacors are at a higher risk of dying. Really, it's not that difficult to remain alive, but Barrows can be a laughing matter in this particular department. tongue.png Second, if you are not lucky, you're definitely not earning money.

In Barrows, while items on average could cost 700k/piece or whatever, you're also raking in a fair bit of money through runes. My most recent barrows streak I made around 6 million in barrows ' tools. I then looked at my runes, and those were around 2.5M. So you are constantly making profit, whereas with Glacors it's very easy to lose money until you have a boot drop or enough fragments for the Armadyl Battlestaff.

Your choice, I personally prefer Barrows since it's much easier to use. Other gold? Actually, Barrows is the sole semi-rewarding, mind-numbing thing that will earn you a guaranteed income. I recommend that over most other things. However, I would recommend that you work toward completing quests as often as you can.

They're in the desert, right? Are they requiring a shanty pass? I was watching a video on players the ability to sell noted items to an npc as well as the ability to  RuneScape Membership return them as items. Are I missing anything? Any ideas?
