Join us for a performance by world-class cellist Amit Peled and his Mount Vernon Virtuosi Orchestra, with proceeds benefiting Outer Cape Health Services.
This mid-week concert program will feature Johann Sebastian Bach: Brandenburg Concerto No. 3 in G Major; Bela Bartok: Romanian Folk Dances; Joachim Stutchewsky: Hassidic Suite, and Pyotr Ilych Tchaikovsky: Serenade for String Orchestra. An intermission update will discuss the opening of the reconstructed and expanded OCHS Wellfleet Health Center. Special OCHS Supporter tickets are available from $100 and include premium seating:
Encore Sponsor: Includes 1 ticket
Allegro Sponsor: Includes 2 tickets
Cadenza Sponsor: Includes 4 tickets
Harmony Sponsor: Includes 8 tickets
The Play it Forward community concert benefits the rebuilding and expansion of the OCHS Wellfleet Health Center and continues the tradition of Bernard Greenhouse, an internationally acclaimed cellist and founding member of the Beaux Arts Trio who died in 2011 at the age of 95. The Play it Forward annual concert was the brainchild of Mr. Greenhouse, a Wellfleet resident and OCHS supporter and patient.
Advance tours of the new Wellfleet Health Center will be available to all concert goers on June 12 from 5pm-6pm.
