World of Warcraft players on the official subreddit for the game are currently engaged in discussions about a difficult issue that has been rearing its head multiple times lately within the community of the game: Is WoW pay-to-win? i.e. will spending money on the game through microtransactions result in faster or more efficient advancement of your character?

The conversation was initiated by a reddit user named Citrinitas696. who started the topic with a provocative question: "How is WoW not P2W? Do you have proof to  cheap WOW WoTLK Classic Gold disprove this idea." At the time of writing this article, the reddit thread has more than 1.300 comments.
