Funhouse Comedy Club - New Comedy Night in Bourne September 2019

NEW COMEDY NIGHT IN BOURNE.

Funhouse Comedy Club, which already runs successful nights at various venues all over the country, is excited to announce the launch of their brand new monthly comedy night at The Old Town Hall, Bourne on Friday September 13th.

Funhouse Comedy Clubs are renowned for having exceptionally friendly audiences and a brilliant atmosphere which have led to twice winning Best Midlands Comedy Club awards with leading comedy website Chortle. Previous acts to have played its clubs on their road to fame and fortune include Sarah Millican, Joe Lycett, James Acaster and Rhod Gilbert, who described the clubs as "among the best anywhere in the world."

Headlining the launch is Mandy Muden the only woman ever to combine comedy and magic on the UK comedy circuit. She has appeared on numerous TV programmes including most recently ITV's 'Britain's Got Talent' where the judges loved her and gave her a standing ovation, taking her through to the semi-finals; as well as 'Celebrity Come Dine With Me' and 'The World's Greatest Magic'. Her string of mad, disastrous tricks and ridiculous jokes leaves the crowd in tears of laughter.

Support from comedian and writer John Ryan who has appeared on TV in such shows as, 'The Weakest Link', 'Watchdog' and 'Bring It On' and also presents on Liberty Radio as well as having written for 'Teletubbies'. His cutting wit; vast awareness of the world around him and affable persona keep everyone totally hooked.

Also appearing will be song writer, animator and comedian Howard Read. Best known for appearances with his animated associate; Little Howard. Delivering his material with appeal and modesty he keeps the audiences under his charm and if you're lucky, he may bring along his ukulele to play.

Compere for the night is the warm and welcoming Spiky Mike.
