Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night in Grantham September 2019

TV COMEDIANS COME TO THE GUILDHALL, GRANTHAM.

Funhouse Comedy Club brings another great night of laughter, to the Guildhall Arts Centre Ballroom on Thursday September 26th.

Topping the bill is Angela Barnes, who has appeared on TV's 'Live at The Apollo', 'Russell Howard's Good News' and 'Mock the Week'; as well as a number of Radio shows, including her own series on Radio 4 last year 'You Can't Take It With You'. With her confident sharp delivery and skilful, hard-hitting lines the crowd are laughing all the way home.

Opening the night will be winner of ITV's 'Show Me The Funny' the instantly loveable and unique Patrick Monahan, with his trademark hyperactive and freewheeling charm. Following the release of his debut DVD he was a guest on Loose Women and also appeared alongside Philip Schofield and Jason Manford on ITV's Comedy Annual. More recently he appeared on ITV's Splash. Of Irish-Iranian decent, but brought up on Teeside he shares tales of his memories. He exudes warmth and charisma; his friendly style mixed with his hilarious story telling has everyone wanting for more.

Also appearing is Scottish comedian and writer Stephen Carlin who supported both Stewart Lee and Stephen Merchant on tour and appeared in 'Stewart Lee Presents 'The Ten Best Stand-ups in the World Ever'. He also appeared on ITV's 'Comedy Cuts' and has written for various radio programmes including 'The News Quiz' and 'The Now Show'. His dreamy and calm onstage persona captivates his audiences whilst his distinctive humour never fails to leave them howling with laughter.

Completing the line-up will be Josh Baulf, with his warm and imaginative anecdotes.

Compere for the night is the cheerful and energetic Spiky Mike.
