TV COMEDIAN COMES TO GAINSBOROUGH
Funhouse Comedy Club, returns to Trinity Arts Centre, Gainsborough on Thursday May 9th for another great night of laughter.
Topping the bill is musical stand-up Richard Morton, who has supported Jack Dee, Lee Evans, Jo Brand, Lily Savage and Phill Jupitus on tour as well as having many TV credits to his name. This livewire Geordie comic is full of surprises and frantic energy, bounding around the stage like an overgrown child on a massive sugar rush and then entertaining his audience with his hilarious songs.
Opening the night will be Angela Barnes, who has appeared on TV's 'Live at The Apollo', 'Russell Howard's Good News' and 'Mock the Week'; as well as a number of Radio shows, including her own series on Radio 4 last year 'You Can't Take It With You'. With her confident sharp delivery and skilful, hard-hitting lines she leaves the crowd laughing all the way home.
Completing the line-up is Jon Pearson. Jon's laid-back storytelling has audiences hanging on his every word. With tales based around his own life experiences, his anecdotes are relatable and certain to have people in hysterics.
Compere for the night will be Barry Dodds, winner of Best MC, Midlands Comedy Awards for the last 4 years, who captivates everyone with his energy, spirit and tantalizing wit.
