LAUGHTER IN ASHBY–DE–LA-ZOUCH.
Funhouse Comedy brings another night full of laughter to the delightful Lyric Rooms, Ashby-de-la-Zouch on Thursday November 7th.
Topping the bill is writer, actor and comedian Barry Castagnola who has written for the likes of BBC's 'Ask Rhod Gilbert', as well as creating characters for Dom Joly's ITV show, 'Fool Britannia'. His self-derision and anecdotes about his life cut to the chase, striking a chord with his audiences and his amiable persona never fails to appeal.
Opening the night will be sharp and intuitive Irishman Keith Farnan, who has performed as a stand-up all over the world, from Montreal, to Amsterdam, to Hong Kong and has appeared on radio and TV including Michael Mcintyre's Comedy Roadshow. Both charismatic and bold he delivers his witty anecdotes with impressive ingenuity and a twinkle in his eye. His scintillating and sometimes biting material never fails to enthral everyone.
Also appearing is the energetic and intelligent Matt Stellingwerf, with his unique and vast mix of observations and interesting tales.
Completing the line-up is the down to earth and madcap Lindsey Santoro, recounting tales of her misadventures in life, in her unique side-splitting style.
Compere for the night is the lively and amicable Spiky Mike.
