Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night in Ashby-De-La-Zouch May 2019

TV COMEDIANS COME TO ASHBY–DE–LA-ZOUCH.

Funhouse Comedy brings another night full of laughter to the delightful Lyric Rooms, Ashby-de-la-Zouch.

Headliner is the somewhat cynical and gloomy Mike Gunn, who despite this has the ability to get the crowd on his side, however far he pushes! In his first Edinburgh Festival Show, he appeared as a funeral director! He has appeared on numerous TV programmes, including Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow (BBC1), Celebrity Deal or no Deal (CH 4), and Harry Hill's TV Burp (ITV). He has also been a contributor for The Guardian and written for Time Out, The List and Match of the Day Magazine and was support for Lee Mack on a huge theatre tour.

Supporting will be Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee Glenn Moore, who has appeared on BBC TV's 'Mock the Week'. One of the best and most prolific joke writers in the country, having written for BBC's The Mash Report, Play To The Whistle, and Russell Howard's Good News. With his silly turn of phrase and smart little one-liners, he keeps the audience hanging on to his every word.

Completing the line-up is American comic, Al Lubel. Previously a lawyer by day and a comedian by night, he decided to give up his day job when clients started calling him for advice whilst on stage! He has appeared with Johnny Carson and on David Letterman's 'Late Show'.

Compere for the night will be the lively and amicable Spiky Mike.
