On behalf of the Eastern Vascular Society, we are pleased to invite you to attend our 39th Annual Meeting. This year’s meeting will be held from September 4 - 7, 2025 at the Grand Hyatt in Nashville, TN. Given the great in person turnout this past year, we again expect to host 400 - 450 vascular surgeons and trainees from the eastern regions of the United States and Canada.

The EVS annual meeting will offer a comprehensive array of robust scientific content, complemented by a diverse range of programming such as DEI sessions, community practice discussions, issue-focused forums, radiation safety workshops, and many others. This multifaceted approach enriches our offerings and attracts a wide spectrum of participants—including physicians across all experience levels and practice types, trainees, students and Advanced Practice Providers.

HIGHLIGHTS OF OUR UPCOMING MEETING:

Aligned with our president's vision, this year's meeting will place a focus on AI. We are excited to introduce a dedicated session on AI in vascular surgery. This program will explore the latest advancements in AI technologies and their applications in our field, such as predictive analytics, image recognition, and personalized patient care. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from experts, engage in discussions about the future of AI in healthcare, and explore how these innovations can enhance surgical practice and patient outcomes.

Similar to last year, we will have a dynamic trade show that will facilitate interaction with meeting attendees allowing industry to showcase their products. We are excited to continue the plenary session for “Late Breaking Trials/Global Encore” to encourage the presentation of new technology and the latest trial data within the main academic sessions. This session will be immediately followed by evening events that will allow industry to showcase new products and technology. Building on the success of last year’s meeting we will continue a dedicated venous disease session featuring abstract presentations, invited speakers, and a hands on workshop. In line with the EVS’s mission to promote equity in access to vascular care, EVS is proud to continue their “Day of Service” event. Additionally, we will continue our popular simulation session, providing attendees with the opportunity to practice their skills in a hands-on environment.

Our programming continues to support trainees and medical students through a mentorship event, case competition, and an academic development session. Building on these successful initiatives, we are excited to introduce new programing dedicated to early-career vascular surgeons providing them with tailored sessions, mentorship opportunities, and resources to support their professional growth. These sessions aim to address the unique challenges faced by those entering the field, offering guidance on career development, research opportunities, and work-life balance. Furthermore, we will continue to offer opportunities for industry sponsored training events, where attendees can learn about new technologies or obtain certifications. In past meetings, we successfully hosted training sessions for devices like TAMBE and TCAR, and we plan to expand these offerings. These events provide valuable hands-on experience and education, enabling participants to stay at the forefront of vascular innovation.
