According to sources in the Urban Development Ministry, a large number of foreign embassies are also made in separate colonies from Chanakyapuri. For the past several years at the diplomatic level, many countries were demanding that allotment of land be made to make them a permanent embassy. For this reason, this place was also identified in Sector 24 of Dwarka, but this case was stuck in the files. In the meeting of the cabinet meeting, after the stamping of 34.87 hectares of land from DDA L Zone Projects to the Land and Development Office in Sector 24, the way to make diplomatic enclave is now clear in Dwarka.
Officials of the ministry said that after getting the land to L & D, the CPWD will develop this land and basic infrastructure will also be prepared there. After this, the plots created here will be allocated to create an embassy through the Ministry of External Affairs. In this way, after Chanakyapuri, it will be the second-largest area where there will be missions or embassies of nearly one hundred countries together.
