“We support and are honored to be part of this fundraising event to educate all nationalities and people about the history of our nation,” said The Mountain View Pub owner, JP Pemberton. “One day I want my grandchildren to see the Crazy Horse monument, and I want their grandchildren to see it as well. The Crazy Horse monument will be there as long as God allows it.  It’s imperative the history of America is kept alive, and I want my grandchildren and great grandchildren to know their family had something to do with its completion and preservation.”

Becvar noted, “We are very appreciative of JP and Michelle Permberton for hosting the Crazy Horse Memorial Building on the Dream event in Cave Creek.  The funds raised will be designated to the Mountain Carving, The Indian University of North America, the Memorial’s Museum’s, or to Where Most Needed based on the donor’s designation. All charitable gifts are appreciated and are eligible for a tax receipt per IRS guidelines. We are grateful for the many friends and supporters that we have in Arizona, their charitable giving is going to make a significant difference.”

The Crazy Horse monument honors the Indigenous people of North America and was envisioned by Chief Henry Standing Bear, a Lakota chief, sculptor Korczak Ziolkowki and his wife, Ruth.  This educational and humanitarian project, more than seven decades in the making, focuses on raising funds to complete the mountain carving as well as achieve future plans for The Indian Museum of North America®, other Memorial museums, and The Indian University of North America®.
