Construction Career Job Training and Placement program

Commonpoint is introducing a six-week construction training, plus job placement, set to begin end-of-July. Participants can receive Osha 30, SST, and other critical certifications for careers in the construction industry.

The details:

• Receive the Core 6 and Core 1 in a six-week training program (this includes Osha 30, scaffolding, flagging, fire guard, and other construction awareness certifications)
  • Core 6: Two weeks / M-F / 9-5pm
  • Core 1: Four weeks / M-Th / 4-8pm
• The only requirements are:
  • an ID / a government ID
  • A social security card
  • Conversational in English (applicants will be given a general English assessment 
  • (HS diploma and covid vaccination are NOT required)
