1. There are no restrictions on administering injections to a real person in California. You have a colleague or associate with you who is also a dentist or doctor with a valid license. 

2. It's possible to inject yourself on simulated skin even if you are not a licensed medical professional in California or have no one accompany you. If a live seminar is available in your state, inject later.
