BIRKENSTOCK LAUNCHES THE NEW HIGHWOOD COLLECTION: INVITING US TO RECONNECT WITH NATURE VIA A MULTI-SENSORY TAKEOVER AT BIRKENSTOCK STUDIO

MULTI-SENSORY HIGHWOOD EXPERIENCE 

 

This immersive studio takeover brings together minimalist design and BIRKENSTOCK’S legacy of craftmanship. With nature at its core, the space will service as a visual celebration of the HIGHWOOD collection.

 

Collaborating with an array of creatives to recontextualise the hidden benefits of the HIGHWOOD through a transformative experience. Visitors will be enveloped by fresh greenery and earthy hues, greeted by a captivating central installation by visionary spatial designer David Curtis-Ring, inspired by the themes of nature and comfort.

 

To deepen the connection between humanity and the natural world, sound artist Justin Wiggan will enhance the experience with an all-encompassing soundscape designed to calm and ground, played from handcrafted sound systems by Berlin-based H.A.N.D.HIFI. Guests will have the opportunity to purchase their own pair from the HIGHWOOD collection and enjoy complimentary massages from East-London’s BODIED, allowing them to reconnect with nature in a holistic way. 

 

INTRODUCING THE HIGHWOOD COLLECTION 

 

The Highwood collection underscores BIRKENSTOCK’s commitment to innovation in the closed shoe category, featuring two elegant silhouettes: the HIGHWOOD MID Slip-On Boot and the new HIGHWOOD LOW LACE Shoe. At the heart of every pair lies our Deep Blue Footbed, delivering unmatched comfort and stability throughout the day.

 

The HIGHWOOD LOW LACE balances elegance and practicality with its sleek, minimalist design. Crafted from smooth oiled leather, available in Black, Graphite, and Habana Brown, it features a TRP outsole for superior grip and a durable open-laced construction, highlighted by refined metallic eyelets.

 

The HIGHWOOD MID Slip-On Boot offers a contemporary look with an easy slip-on design. Featuring high-quality gore for a secure fit and a cushioning cork midsole, it’s available in Black, Taupe, and Mocca.
