Worcester Youth Orchestras Fall Auditions

The Worcester Youth Orchestras (WYO) welcomes all interested students grades 12 and under to audition for its orchestras, jazz program, wind ensemble or chamber music programs! Open to all students who play string, wind, brass, percussion and harp instruments. In residence at Mechanics Hall, the organization presents multiple concerts at Mechanics as well as around Worcester County. Drawing from more than 60 communities and schools, the Worcester Youth Orchestras is Central Massachusetts' premiere youth orchestra program representing the finest talent in the area. Students enjoy weekly rehearsals, coachings and masterful performances as well as international trips and tours. Most recently the WY Symphony toured Germany and Austria in June 2023. Be a part of this incredible organization, now in its 76 year! WYO is a place to make music as well as make lifelong friends.

Auditions will be held in person on Monday, August 28th and Tuesday, August 29th from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at the WYO Offices at Mechanics Hall.
