What happens when Wim Hof Method Instructor/Navy SEAL and a Marriage and Family Therapist fall in love?
The Couple's Wim Hof Method Workshop: A Couple’s Bonding Experience.
You will share the experience of:
- WHM Breathing - Together
- WHM Cold Exposure - Together (and as always optional)
Plus-
- Learn the Couples Can Do Mindset - "We can do it because we have each other."
- Discover your true strengths as a couple and build your story of resiliency
- Connect through breathing, touch and eye contact
- Communicate through fun exercises that help you discover ways to bring more closeness, fun, and adventure into your relationship
After teaching the Wim Hof Method to over 200 people, we started noticing a trend. Couples of all ages and backgrounds were coming to our workshops together and they would leave holding hands, happy, and close. Crissie, a Marriage and Family Therapist, saw the ice bath as an opportunity to bond and support each other. A new workshop born!
Each couple will work together to:
Move through a novel and challenging experience, deeply connecting with each other, encouraging each other, and supporting each other.
At the beginning of the workshop, you will connect with exercises designed to have you relax and connect. Then we will practice breath work together and discuss what it means to have a can-do mindset together.
Each couple will then support and encourage each other during exposure to the cold, a 90-second ice bath.
Each couple will decide together if they will do the ice bath together, individually with their lover holder their hands, or not at all.
The workshop will wrap up with a final surprise exercise to leave the workshop close and connected.
As an added benefit, in this workshop, you will learn and practice activities that promote a happy, healthy and strong body and mind. You will experience immediate physical benefits and with practice, long-term gains in your workout, stress levels, productivity and overall well being.
