William's Chalk the Walk s a day full of art, family, friends, music and love. Hundreds of attendees adorn their patches of sidewalk with chalk and pastels – beautiful drawings, inspirational sayings and hopeful messages. Families gather to admire the artwork of their friends and neighbors, dance to the DJ’s tunes, eat at the food trucks, bid on raffle prizes donated by generous local businesses, and paint at the arts and crafts tables. Bring art supplies to donate to our local pediatric cancer hospitals, hospice and the Ronald McDonald House. All proceeds go to support art therapy for pediatric cancer patients in and out of the hospital as well as childhood brain cancer research.
