Wild hogs are everywhere here in Texas and make for enjoyable hunting whether trapping or rifle hunting. As enjoyable as that hunt is for most hunters the work begins after that pig is harvested. True, wild hogs are harder to skin than deer but can produce some delicious meat. The problem we have found is that many hunters are not fully enjoying that pork because they lack some tips and techniques for skinning and processing. This is where the workshop can help. We will be teaching the tricks to go from wrestling around trying to get a pig skinned for hours to having the hide off in no time. We also will demonstrate different methods of processing. Just because that wild pig is lean by nature doesn't mean it can't make delicious hams, cuts, butts, ribs and sausage. You just need a different approach. Learn to cure that wild pork bacon.
