Sun Jul 30 - (1pm-8pm / free entry) We continue our weekly good time rooftop Live and DJ excursion, A WHOLE BRUNCH OF SOUL with a Norly Funk Trip for the senses - This week hosted by funk, soul label + Mukatsuku Records Chief NIK WESTON and the funking fantastic ROY PFEFFER TRIO - bringing the sounds and raw energy of positive, old skool, New Orleans funk and beyond LIVE and positively direct to the rooftop over 2 sets, free entry at The CLF Art Lounge and Roof Garden.

Soul to afro, motown to funk, jazz to hip hop and way beyond. All righteously served and performed for your absolute Sunday afternoon listening, eating and get down pleasure!

THE ROY PFEFFER TRIO (LIVE) - Band Live On stage from around 3pm, performing 2 live sets

Band leader and drummer Roy Pfeffer is one of London's most recognised ambassadors of New Orleans music.

He leads acclaimed New Orleans funk band The Big Smoke Family - regulars at Ronnie Scott's and favorites on New Orleans biggest radio station WWOZ. He is also a founding member of The Cosimo Matassa Project - a band dedicated to 1950 New Orleans rhythm 'n' blues and playing music by artists such as Fats Domino, Smiley Lewis and Dr John.

His own trio plays a soulful mix of New Orleans jazz, Mardi Gras and funk with repertoire from Grant Green, Horace Silver, Idris Muhammad and Many More.

As a DJ, he's played over 30 countries including 20 tours of Japan and supported the likes of Gilles Peterson, Danny Krivit, Moodyman, Pharoah Sanders, Tania Maria etc .Since 2001 Weston has put out over 200 releases on various labels in the US, Europe and Japan, and over 70 releases on his own Mukatsuku Records strictly vinyl only, singles only label imprint.
