Sun Sep 03 - (1pm-8pm / free entry) - Time for our weekly Sunday good time rooftop Live and DJ excursion, A WHOLE BRUNCH OF SOUL with a nod to this years 50 Years Of Hip Hop celebrations as we welcome champion eclectic, funk, soul, breaks and hip hop turntablist + Dusty Donuts DJ JIM SHARP alongside premier Jazz Hop outfit, the truly outstanding 3RD ESTATE (LIVE), free entry up on the (weatherproof roof) at The CLF Art Lounge and Roof Garden.

All artists joining forces to show that hip hop got soul, jazz and beyond. Part of our weekly Sunday Soul Brunch sessions where we invite you to sit back, eat, drink, relax and/or dance to a diverse range of soul in all its forms. Soul to afro, motown to funk, jazz to hip hop' reggae and way beyond. All righteously served and performed for your absolute Sunday afternoon listening, eating and get down pleasure!

3RD ESTATE (LIVE) - Band on stage around 3pm performing 2 live sets

3rd Estate is the exciting project from Manchester based musician and songwriter Dan '3Digits' Berry. With a upbringing firmly in the UK Jazz tradition and a career performing and recording with Mr Jukes, Bombay Bicycle Club, Slugabed, Speech Debelle and many more... 3Digits has been plotting a collaboration between MCs, vocalists and jazz musicians for some time.

In 2019 3rd Estate recorded their debut 'Heart is Beating EP' at Octagon Studios in Brixton and opened for Stones Throw Records alumni Homeboy Sandman and Edan at London's Jazz Cafe. Their debut release was released early 2020 via Submit Records.

Bringing together the raw energy of improvisation with the versatility and lyricism of UK Hip Hop / MC culture 3rd Estate deliver a unique live experience. Expect music and lyrics that hit your soul and grooves with a body-moving and unmistakably homegrown UK sound.

JIM SHARP

Jim Sharp grew up on a steady diet of East Coast Hip Hop during the 90’s in the Toronto area. He started playing records under the tutelage of local kings of the turntables. Years of practicing took him and his stickered up record box into bars, clubs and raves.

In 2003 Jim moved to London, UK and began the process again from scratch. Putting in more work on the decks than ever and teaching himself how to produce music, everyday was a hustle. After gaining residencies throughout London and a radio show on Itch FM, he started releasing records under the moniker J.Bold.

He since took his passion for deejaying to a new level, rockin’ crowds with sets full of dope cuts and mixes and a big smile on his face.

Jim has worked alongside deejays such as Skratch Bastid, Mr Thing, Jazzie B, Kon, Rich Medina and acts such as Pharoah Monche, Black Sheep, Jeru the Damaja, George Clinton, Mobb Deep.
