Harvest Fest 2024: A Family Fun Fall Fest

Get ready for a frightfully fun day in the West Seattle Junction as Harvest Fest 2024 brings the community together for a spooktacular celebration! Whether you're a ghoul, goblin, or ghost, there's something for everyone to enjoy at this family-friendly event.

Kick-Off Costume Parade (11:00 AM):
The festivities begin with a parade you won't want to miss! Gather your little monsters, princesses, and superheroes for a costume parade through the Junction, led by the West Seattle High School Marching Band. Meet at Junction Plaza Park at 10:45 AM ready to march along and show off your best Halloween attire as the band fills the streets with music and festive spirit.

Seattle Thrillers Performance (12:00 PM):
At 12 PM be prepared to be thrilled-literally! The Seattle Thrillers will take center stage in the All-Ways intersection of SW California and Alaska St SW to deliver an extraordinary performance that will have you dancing in the streets. This iconic dance troupe will bring Michael Jackson's "Thriller" to life, adding a touch of spooky fun to the day.

A La Mode Pie-Eating Contest (12:30 PM):
Ready to satisfy your sweet tooth? Test your appetite in our A La Mode pie-eating contest, where participants will race to devour as much pie as they can in a limited time. Whether you're a seasoned pie enthusiast or just in it for the fun, this contest is sure to be as entertaining as it is delicious!

Chili Cook-Off (11:00 AM start till the chili is gone!):
For those who prefer savory to sweet, our chili cook-off is the place to be. Local chefs and home cooks will go head-to-head, serving up their best chili recipes. Sample a variety of chili styles and vote for your favorite-only one can be crowned the Harvest Fest Chili Champion!

Live Music, Activity Booths and Sidewalk Trick-or-Treating (throughout the event):
The Junction will be buzzing with activity as local businesses and community groups set up booths filled with games, crafts, and Halloween treats. Don't forget to bring your trick-or-treat bags, because sidewalk trick-or-treating will be in full swing. Visit participating merchants for goodies, treats and festivities. Plus, enjoy live music throughout the event! Including the Heebie Jeebies from 1:15-2P.

For all the dog lovers out there, it's a family event and that includes your furry friends. Just remember, with the lively crowd, parade and booming music, make sure your pet is comfortable with the hustle and bustle.
