Weekly Zoo Community Storytime sponsored by ConocoPhillips Alaska

We are very excited to announce the sponsorship of weekly Zoo Community Storytime by ConocoPhillips Alaska in 2023! This program is now FREE for zoo members and non-members alike weekly on Wednesdays in our Zoo Gateway Hall located outside of the entrance. The program is held from 10:30am-11am. We are WILD about encouraging kids to read!

Celebrate with us! Join us for a special Zoo Community Storytime Celebration sponsored by ConocoPhillips Alaska happening at 10:30am on Wednesday, February 1st. Join us for freebies, treats, a special animal visitors, stories, music and more. Come one, come all!

Here are the weekly Storytime details: Animal books read by a zoo educator, weekly on Wednesdays all year long, program is from 10:30-11am, no registration - just join us, program is FREE for zoo members and non-members, an adult is required to attend with children, 1 to 5 ratio, best suited for ages 4-7 but all ages of emerging readers are welcome, special animal visitor weekly starting in mid-January, props and floor cushions.

We encourage all participants to walk the trails after the program, paying special attention to visit the animal species featured in the books of the day. Non-members will pay regular rates at the gate if they wish to enter the zoo. We hope you will join us for this fun and free community program!
