Wedding of the Sea

Notre Dame de la Mer Parish cordially invites you to share in our celebration of
The Feast of the Assumption and Wedding of the Sea.

On August 14 at 4pm, our celebration will begin at St. Ann Church, 2901 Atlantic Ave with preludes being song by our combined Contemporary and Adult Choirs accompanied by an orchestra. At 4:30, His Most Reverend Excellency, Bishop Dennis Sullivan will preside over the Vigil Mass of the Assumption. Immediately following the congregation will process through the streets of Wildwood and over the boardwalk to the beach, while singing our praises to the Blessed Virgin Mary. At the water's edge Bishop Sullivan will lead a small prayer service and then he will be taken out into the ocean where he will bless it and its inhabitants.
