Where was the idea for the RIBA conceived? Which Monarch gave us our Royal Charter? Which city's name is carved into our walls? Why did the RIBA cause a traffic jam? Which famous architects and actors have walked these floors? Visit the home of architecture and hear about the places and faces behind 66 Portland Place.
Architect George Grey Wornum's winning design for the RIBA is both beautiful and functional and our dedicated tour guides will walk you through our fascinating art-deco building to explore the writings on our walls and see the wealth of materials that make up our intricate interiors. As well as looking at our magnificent architecture, we will offer you an insight into the architecture profession and the RIBA's role in championing great architecture.
For our Saturday afternoon tours, you are entitled to a complementary tea/coffee and one brownie or flapjack from our ground floor cafe.
Standard Ticket: GBP 10 excluding booking fee.
