Walk With Us YAMT: 2022

We would like to welcome you to participate in our second annual Walk With Us: YAMT event. This walk-a-thon was created in an effort to increase funding for long-term aftercare support services for Black, Indigenous, People of Color, and LGBTQ+ survivors of domestic trafficking throughout NJ and nationally.

Start off your day with a beautiful 3.8-mile walk through Cooper River Park and end it with fun activities in the park for the whole family (Yoga in the park, Kid-Friendly Activities, Food Trucks, connect with local small businesses, gain raffle prizes, and more! )

Form a team with family and friends to win fundraising prizes at the event! Last year we successfully raised $5,000 for the survivors that we serve, this year our goal is to double our impact and raise $10,000!

You Are More Than Inc. is a 501(c)(3) charity with a mission to plant seeds of emotional wellbeing, educational growth, and pathways to financial freedom within the lives of Black, Indigenous, People of Color, and LGBTQ+ survivors nationally. Since its inception in 2020, YAMT has awarded no-strings-attached, cash grants of $20,000 back into the survivor community through our survivor emergency fund, entrepreneurship grant, and education grant - we have provided 100 + hours of peer mentorship to survivors throughout the United States, invested in 20 survivor-led small businesses, provided transformative mental health counseling services to survivors throughout NJ and trained over 590 members in our community on best practices to treating survivors of domestic trafficking.
