Wakefield Comedy Club Launch NIght

This month we are bringing you a double headliner event featuring Danny Posthill from Britain's Got Talent and the amazing Steve Harris. Joining them are Jon Pearson and Justin Panks so this will be an event not to be missed!
Doors open at 6.30 pm and last entry is 7.30 pm. There is a fully stocked bar and if you want to continue the evening afterwards, your ticket includes free entry to the nightclub until the early hours.

JON PEARSON MC

Jon's career has even taken him overseas with performances in Spain, Norway and even as far away as Wigan (it is like being on another planet). Jon is also a familiar face on at comedy festivals across the UK having taken three solo shows to the Leicester, Nottingham and Edinburgh festivals. Jon has also provided tour support for Darren Harriot on his UK 2018/2019 tour and Lucy Porter on her UK 2017 tour. Jon's laid back storytelling has audiences hanging on his every word. With tales based around his own life experiences, his anecdotes are relatable and certain to have people in hysterics. 

DANNY POSTHILL - double headliner

Danny Posthill made his name in 2015 when he reached the final of Britain's Got Talent. He combines stand up with a string of impressions including Jimmy Carr, Donald Trump, Boris Johnson and Sarah Millican and has performed all over the world, working around the Mediterranean, South America and Asia as well as having a sell out Edinburgh show.

STEVE HARRIS - double headliner

Steve has been a stand up comedian for over twenty years and burst on to the comedy scene by winning the coveted North West Comedian of the Year Award on his fifth ever gig. Shortly after, Steve earned his way to the final of the prestigious BBC New Comedy Award and So you Think You're Funny Comedy Award. Throughout the years Steve has become a regular headliner at some of the most respected comedy clubs in the UK, and has done support slots for Johnny Vegas, Peter Kay and Lee Evans on their UK tours

JUSTIN PANKS

Justin Panks brings a wonderfully skewed observational eye and the ability to approach seemingly everyday subjects from extraordinary angles. He makes the perfect balance between the relatable and the outrageous. His tales of relationships, fatherhood, and life in general are raw, honest, and above all very funny.
