Volunteer with Hospice -- September Training

Signature Hospice invites you to share your compassionate heart and spirit with patients and families in all Portland communities. Companionship is many things - listening to stories of a lifetime of sweet memories, enjoying the beauty of nature on a sunny courtyard patio, reading poignant prayer or poetry, holding a hand in sacred silence. The majority of our patients live in a facility setting or senior community - independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, memory care, or adult family homes. Since the patient is not living at home with their family, companionship volunteer visits take on an even greater significance.

The next volunteer training, comprised of 3 sessions, is scheduled for September 7th, 8th, and 15th.
