The Vancouver Fraser Port Authority is federally mandated under the Canada Marine Act to facilitate Canada's trade objectives while protecting the environment and considering local communities. We ensure that trade is handled safely and securely while planning for the future to ensure that we're ready to meet the needs of Canadian importers and exporters.
Led by the port authority, Roberts Bank Terminal 2 is a proposed marine container terminal at Roberts Bank in Delta that would play a critical role in supporting growing Canadian trade. The terminal would be located in deep, subtidal waters to minimize environmental effects, and will be funded by the port authority and private investment, not tax dollars.
