Three bestselling authors join together overlooking Pleasant Bay for an afternoon of gourmet dining and book talks. Join us in this unique chance to meet wonderful authors!
Join us on the Wequassett Resort's Garden Terrace on Friday, June 21st at 12pm for a special luncheon with authors Sarah Blake, George Howe Colt, and Anne Fadiman, whose respective books The Guest Book, The Game: Harvard, Yale, and America in 1968, and The Wine Lover's Daughter will all be featured.
We are honored that this trio of brilliant authors is coming together with a riveting look at history: through the gripping historical fiction of The Guest Book, the compelling history of a nation distilled through one fascinating football game and its players, and a personal memoir of her celebrated literary father by the National Book Critics Circle Award Winner for Nonfiction.
The ticket price includes the full luncheon, coffee and dessert, sales tax, gratuity and fees for the resort, as well as website processing fees. If you are purchasing multiple tickets for this event, you will be able to enter the names of your guests at checkout and any special seating requests. Due to the nature of hosting author events at a five-star wedding venue, tickets are non-refundable. However, we do maintain waitlists and would be more than happy to help facilitate a ticket transfer and reimbursement should you find yourself unable to attend that day.
The featured books are for sale at Where the Sidewalk Ends Bookstore in downtown Chatham, through this website, and will also be available for purchase and signing at the event. We thank you for your support of our independent, mother-daughter owned bookstore through your book purchases, which enable us to bring authors of this caliber to Cape Cod for our events.
Thank you, and we look forward to seeing you on June 21st!
