Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night in Derby May 2019

LAUGHTER AT THE OLD BELL HOTEL, DERBY.

Funhouse Comedy Club returns to The Old Bell Hotel, Derby on Friday May 31st for more fun and laughter.

Topping the bill is International comedian Gordon Southern, nominated for both Amused Moose Laughter Awards and 'Best International Show' at the New Zealand Comedy Festival. This year his show was nominated for best comedy at the Perth Fringe and he is very much in demand. His quick humour and buoyant delivery, along with his hilarious observational comedy and improvisation has everyone fascinated and wanting for more.

Opening the night will be the intelligent, controversially witty, hip and silly Markus Birdman. Regarded by many in the know as one of the best circuit acts in the country, he has toured internationally and had highly acclaimed shows at the Edinburgh Festival. His dandyish onstage confidence, versatility and infectious nature result in a truly absorbing performance.

Also appearing will be the self-deprecating and hilariously awkward Edd Hedges.

Compere for the night is Barry Dodds, winner of Best MC, Midlands Comedy Awards 2015, 2016 and 2017, who captivates his audiences with his energy, spirit and tantalizing wit.
