Performers
Jocelyn Freeman is a Welsh pianist, conductor and adjudicator based in London. She began her performing career as chorister in St David's Cathedral Choir, released her debut solo piano album Night and Novelties in 2013 with Kissan Records, and now performs internationally as collaborative and solo pianist, and conductor. Her pianism has been described as "outstanding", "brilliant", "sparkling" and "One to Watch", including accolades from International Piano Magazine.
Andrew Earis is Director of Music at St Martin-in-the-Fields where he oversees the music programme at this busy London church. Recent performances include Mozart's Mass in C Minor with the Academy of St Martin in the Fields and Beethoven Mass in C with Southbank Sinfonia. He is a graduate of the Royal College of Music and Imperial College, London, and holds a PhD from the University of Manchester. In addition to his duties at St Martin's, Andrew is a regular contributor to BBC Radio's religious output as a producer of programmes including Radio 4 Sunday Worship and Radio 3 Choral Evensong.
The Brandenburg Sinfonia (Artistic Director: Bob Porter) is also in great demand abroad and has, in recent years visited France, USA, Bermuda, the Channel Islands, Barbados, Cyprus, Malta and St Petersburg. The varied range of activities undertaken by the orchestra include a major concert series at St Martin-in-the- Fields and a major Classical Music cruise on the QE2.
