Artclusive @ *SCAPE 2019
The adage “a picture paints a thousand words” bears great significance for children with dyslexia.
While these children face struggles in articulating themselves through words, the way they learn and think differently gives them the ability to excel in creative fields such as art.
At Artclusive @ *SCAPE 2019, the artistic talent of children with dyslexia will come alive. Join students from the Dyslexia Association of Singapore (DAS) as they showcase their art pieces and become ‘teachers-of-the-hour’ of water colour techniques to the public.
Organised by DAS for the first time, Artclusive @ *SCAPE will present the following highlights:
Time: 11 am to 4 pm
9 March 2019 – Art Activities: free and open to public, first-come-first-serve 16 March 2019 – Art Jamming: registration required and open to primary three to secondary five students, limit to first 10 sign-ups ($10 for art materials to be paid on actual day)
