INTRODUCTION

Poor nutritional is a leading cause of most non-communicable diseases and shortened life-span. Nutritional assessment and survey are done to obtain information about the prevalence and geographic distribution of nutritional disorders within a community or a specified population group. The purpose of Epi Info/ENA software is to make analysis of nutrition and mortality data collected in field surveys as easy and reliable as possible.

By the end of the training, participants should be able to:

Understand the basic anthropometric techniques application and reference standards

Gain a general knowledge of how to install and work with ENA and EpiInfo software programs

Install and work with ENA/EpiInfo Software
