100+ product innovations that cause social impact!

Design:Impact Awards by Titan Company Limited, in collaboration with Tata Trusts, aims to identify, support and celebrate great tangible design innovations that cause disruptive social change. The first edition started in 2017 and received nearly a 1000 entries across 13 sectors from all corners of the country and beyond. After multiple rounds of rigorous evaluation by sector and industry experts, we have identified 8 winners who shall receive grants of up to Rs 65 lakhs each over the course of the next two years.

From 10th to 12th August, 2018, we shall be exhibiting 100+ design innovations, through interactive installations, which were entries to the program and have the potential to cause disruptive social change. This is being conducted to create awareness about the products and the steps being taken to mitigate a wide variety of social issues. 

Swarathma, a well-known folk rock band, have created 8 compositions which celebrate the 8 winning design innovations and the journey of the creators. They shall be performing on the 10th of August from 7 PM at the amphitheater in Rangoli Metro Art Center.
