Shaastra AI Challenge

The mission of Shaastra AI Challenge is to create solutions and initiatives in AI, that will contribute to the social good and address the needs and challenges faced by humanity.

The hackathon is divided into three broad themes/categores. Teams have to come up with innovative game-changing solutions under any one of these themes. Teams in each theme will be judged separately.

• Disaster Management.
• Education.
• Healthcare.

The hackathon is divided into three phases, each of which will have an elimination round.

• Phase I - Ideation: 11th November 2018 to 30th November 2018.
• Phase II - Prototype Development: 4th December 2018 to 23rd December 2018.
• Phase III - Grand Finale: 6th January 2019.

The Shaastra AI Challenge is part of a three day AI fest, the AI Confluence. The AI Confluence is one of the flagship events of Shaastra 2019 organized with the objective of bringing together and nurturing the AI ecosystem by driving broader awareness and adoption of AI and showcasing the leading work in AI across India.
