Description – Smart Rail 2020 to be held on 16 – 17 June 2020, will focus on some of the major ongoing and upcoming railway projects in the region. The conference will ideate on next generation policy, procedural and regulatory initiatives needed to attract investments in the railway sector.. The conference will provide participants an update on technology up-gradation and joint ventures with equipment manufacturers. The conference attracts up to 100 delegates, including 50+ members of the Asian Railway Operators Association. This comprises delegations of up to five Senior Managers, sent by 12 of the region’s leading railway operators to represent them in each of the five designated key areas of railway activity;
