Barbora Dohnalová: Carnival

Exhibition of painter Barbora Dohnalová. Barbora will be presenting her newest painting collection created in summer 2019. The theme for this exhibition is circus/carneval. Barbora was trying to use this theme untraditionally by mixing the elements of carnival with surrealistic landscape. It is supposed to be dreamy and also a bit mysterious. The paintings are not supposed to be very merry since there is always something weird and dark about carnivals. The series is highly inspired by series Carnivalle and also books by Stephen King.
