Award-winning poet Lorna Crozier joins Victoria Baroque for an awe-inspiring reflection on trees and forests, paired with stunning photography by TJ Watt of the Ancient Forest Alliance and otherworldly instrumental music by baroque masters. This program is a dialogue between music, poetry, and images; a celebration of the great forests; and an insightful exploration of our relationship with the natural world.
The program includes music by JS Bach, a mesmerising contemporary piece, "Garland", by Canadian Linda Catlin Smith, and works by Vivaldi, Handel, Telemann, Geminiani, Buxtehude, and Rebel.
