Aisslinn Nosky
Violinist Aisslinn Nosky captivates audiences around the world with her innovative interpretations and impeccable technique. Her fierce passion for early music and skill as a soloist, director, and conductor has generated robust appreciation from the press and audiences alike. Hailed as "superb" by The New York Times and "a fearsomely powerful musician" by The Toronto Star, widespread demand for Aisslinn continues to grow. In 2011 Aisslinn was appointed Concertmaster of the Handel and Haydn Society of Boston. She is also the Concertmaster of Bach Akademie Charlotte and has been a Guest Artist-in-Residence with the Manitoba Chamber Orchestra since 2018. Aisslinn has also collaborated with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, Holland Baroque, and the Charlotte Symphony. She was a dedicated member of Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra from 2005 to 2016 and served as Principal Guest Conductor of the Niagara Symphony from 2016 to 2019. Born in Canada, Aisslinn began playing violin at age three and made her solo debut with the CBC Vancouver Orchestra at age eight.

Victoria Baroque
Now in its thirteenth season, Victoria Baroque presents dynamic, personal and engaging performances of music from the Baroque and Classical periods. The ensemble brings together early music specialists from Vancouver Island and beyond for explorations of chamber, orchestral, vocal, and choral works. Playing on instruments of the 18th century, Victoria Baroque brings audiences closer to the soundworld of the period, embracing the dance-driven rhythmic vitality, as well as the lyrical and conversational aspects of baroque music. Besides self-presented concerts, Victoria Baroque has performed as guest artists for Early Music Vancouver, Early Music Society of the Islands, Artspring, and the Cowichan Symphony Society. Outreach and education are integral to Victoria Baroque's mission, and its educational initiatives have included community workshops and collaborations with the Victoria Conservatory of Music, University of Victoria School of Music, and the Greater Victoria Youth Orchestra.
