This Saturday at 1 pm come to Smythe Park and learn about Black Creek's history and it's flooding issues. This is for anyone interested in Urban Planning, watersheds, flooding mitigation, urban parks, neighbourhood inequity, toronto ravines.  If you are just interested in the history of the area, I am sure you will learn a lot! Madeleine McDowell has deep roots in the area and has been our local historian for decades. She has some incredible stories to tell.
See you there!
