HISTORY OF THE PRODUCTION:
Nearly a year ago now we were half-way through the rehearsal process with our 12 actors playing more than 60 characters. We switched to virtual rehearsals once covid became a factor, in the hope that we'd be back to normal by the summer. When that proved impossible we decided to record the show "live" on Zoom. We recorded the entire play live, with actors performing from their homes. We stopped only for the two intermissions. The gifted creative team at Ticking Clock Productions handled post-production.
*The dialogue describes in graphic detail by medical professionals on the scene of the condition Matthew Shepard was found in, plus swearing by several characters. (All dialogue is in the exact words spoken by the people of Laramie in interviews conducted by Tectonic Theater members.) Please use discretion for youth under age 12. See Less
