Fun for the whole family -- this free Fall Faire event by the UC Master Gardeners of Napa County is this coming Saturday!
Celebrate fall with us and our community partners:
--25+ educational booths,
--Demonstrations,
--Activities for kids and adults, and all sorts of
--Free giveaways!
In addition, you won't want to miss
--Strolling down Scarecrow Row to vote for your favorite scarecrow,
--Talking with Audrey II, our giant animatronic carnivorous plant, or
--Touring the on-site gardens that UC Master Gardeners helped create and develop.
Learn about backyard composting, thinking beyond turf, saving the Monarch butterflies and honeybees, beneficial bugs, caring for Bonsai plants, growing and tasting herbal tisanes for tea making, meeting with the physical therapist about adaptive gardening tools, arranging fall flowers, growing lavender, our water - our world, and many more.
And, don't forget to join in the fun at the children and adult activity booths, and make sure to pick up some great garden giveaways like seeds and bulbs, decorated clay pots, succulents, milkweed, ivy garlands, books, etc. while they last!
Check out our community partners, such as the CA Native Plant Society, Audubon Society, RCD, NWCD, Friends of the Library, Saving the Monarchs, Napa Parks and Recreation, Napa Climate NOW, and others. Also, La Condessa Taqueria food truck will be on-site when you get hungry!
