Treasure Coast Theatre will hold auditions to cast the hit romantic comedy about a woman seeking love in New York City, and trying to choose between a handsome, successful author and the gentle, unpretentious pickle vendor whom her grandmother's matchmaker friend has chosen for her.
Auditions will be held on Monday, June 26th. Registration begins at 6:30pm and auditions begin at 7pm
Director Anderson Anderson Knittel needs to fill the following five roles:
Isabelle Grossman- female lead, late 20s/30s
An independent, intellectual young woman, who lives and works in New York City.
Sam Posner - male lead, 30s-early 40s
Runs a pickle stand in New York's Lower East Side, which he inherited from his recently deceased father.
Bubbie Kantor - female lead, 60s-80s
Isabelle's strong-minded, fiercely loving, traditional Jewish grandmother.
Tyler Moss - supporting male, late 30s-40s
A writer of literary fiction, living in New York City where he also works as a professor.
Hannah Mandelbaum - supporting female, Late 40s-60s
A shadkhn, a marriage broker, who lives and works in New York's Lower East Side.
Performance dates are Friday-Sunday, September 15- October 1, 2023. Friday and Saturday performances begin at 8pm and Sunday matinee performance begin at 2pm.
